Wow
Wow, the past few days have been very busy. Getting settled in and everything else associated with moving is a lot of work. Add on an international move, and its just a little more intense. I'm glad to say that things seem to be slowly down a bit, and I'm probably 98% settled in, just a few loose ends to tie up, but nothing huge.
Qantas called me and told me that they were looking for the lost hard drive. That was about 5 days ago, I thought I'd give them some time, not come off too pushy. Well, today I'm going to call and ask to make a claim to at least the value of the item that was lost.
I also had a one on one meeting with the head of my program, and it went very well. I think I made a really good impression. We're now working on getting me work as an instructor. I don't need the pay, but I defiantly could benefit from the experience. I am defiantly going to be teaching next semester, but I would love to start now. I should be finding out soon if they need me to teach for this semester, within the next day or two.
Did I mention that Brisbane is frickn' hot?!
I cannot believe it is now officially February. I have been counting down to this month for now over 18 months! In 3 days and some hours it will officially be midnight Feb 5th, the day of my departure to Australia. Awesome! I've spent most of the night tonight just cleaning my room, throwing away a bunch of crap that I've piled up over the years, and really looking for things / paperwork that I need to keep.
